Configuring after installation

You configure the connections to Real User Analyzers and the monitoring of real web traffic from BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring when you create a policy. A policy is a template containing the configuration of a PATROL Agent. A policy can be assigned to one or more PATROL Agents using a unique tag (Central Monitoring Administration tag), and a PATROL Agent can be assigned one or more policies with different priorities. A policy contains the following major elements, each corresponding to a specific tab on the Central Monitoring Administration screen:

If you have not already added the Central Monitoring Administration tag to your PATROL Agents during the solution installation, you must manually assign the tag after you have configured the policy. For details, see Adding-Central-Monitoring-Administration-tags.
