Viewing the pod blueprint listing

A pod blueprint is a hardware-independent representation of a pod, calling out the category of each device involved but not any particular device type. You can instantiate a pod blueprint by selecting specific network devices to use. You can reuse a given pod blueprint to create multiple pods.

To add a pod blueprint, see Managing pods and containers from the BMC Network Automation CLI Exporting and importing components using a script and the extensive comments in the ContainerBlueprint.xml and PodBlueprint.xml files in the BCAN_HOME/public/bca-networks/csm/docs directory.

To view the lists of pod blueprints

  1. Navigate to to Network > Virtual Data Center > Pod Blueprints.

The Pod Blueprints page lists the reference or user-imported pod blueprints present in BMC Network Automation. See Managing pods and containers from the BMC Network Automation the command line interface for more information about importing custom pod blueprints.
