Prerequisites

Use of the BMC Continuous Compliance for Network Automation solution requires that the BMC Remedy ITSM change management solution is already installed and running at your site in a production environment. The following additional installation and configuration steps are required:

• The Enable Continuous Compliance for Network Automation option must be selected and configured when installing or after upgrading the BMC Network Automation application server. This option is available when you choose to integrate with BMC Atrium Orchestrator during installation or after upgrade. You can enable this option after upgrade by editing system parameters. For more information, see Managing system parameters.
• Additional software components must be installed on the BMC Remedy server.
• Using the BMC Network Automation UI, several system parameters must be configured. The integration must be enabled, and actions for which you want to require Remedy approval must be selected.
