Extending change integration for storage
Complete the following procedures to create new storage operator actions and then create a Change template mapping with the new actions.
Creating new storage operator actions
- a browser, open the CMF:OperatorActions_ChangeIntegration form.
Create entries for the new operator actions. Enter the appropriate information in the following fields:
- Action ID—Action Name
- Action Class—OM Class
- Op Name—Operation Name
- Op Value—Operation Value
- Display Name—Name displayed on the UI.
- Add the following actions:
- Attach operator action
- Action ID—SOI-attach storage
- Action Class—Storage Connection
- Op Name—attach
- Op Value—1200
- Display Name—Attach Storage
- Detach operator action
- Action ID—SOI-detach storage
- Action Class—StorageConnection
- Op Name—detach
- Op Value—1100
- Display Name—Detach Storage
- Decommission operator action
- Action ID—SOI-decommission storage
- Action Class—StorageResource
- Op Name—decommission
- Op Value—1300
- Display Name—Decommission Storage
- Attach operator action
The values are populated in ITSM Configuration tab of the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console.
Creating a Change template mapping
- Log in to the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console as a cloud administrator.
- Go to Workspaces > Configuration, and click the ITSM Configuration tab.
- Register a valid ITSM provider.

in the Operator Action – Template Mapping section to open the Change Template Mapping dialog box.
- Select an action from the Operator Action Name drop-down list.
- Click Save.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
