Specifying log4j configuration for Cloud Platform Manager


Log4j configuration is controlled by access attribute values set in the cloudservices.json file.

To modify access attributes in the cloudservices.json file

  1. Open cloudservices.json in a text editor.
    The file is located in the following directory:
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BMCCloudLifeCycleManagement\Platform_Manager\configuration
    • Linux: /opt/bmc/BMCCloudLifeCycleManagement/Platform_Manager/configuration
  2. Update one or more access attribute values in the file.
  3. Save the cloudservices.json file.
  4. Wait 5 seconds.
     You do not need to restart Platform Manager.

The following table describes some of the access attributes that you can modify in the cloudservices.json file:
