Adding a server to an existing service

You can add a server to an existing service by using the Add Server Post-Deployment action of the Azure Provider. Perform the following steps to add a new virtual machine (VM) to an existing service:

Note

The Add Server Post-Deployment action allows you to add a new VM with the configurations that were used to create the base VM. To enable adding a new server as a clone of an existing Azure VM, BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management cloud administrators must add server options and option choices for the Azure Provider. For more information, see Creating-options-and-option-choices-in-the-Azure-Provider.

While adding a new server as a clone of an existing Azure VM, the new server does not support the creation of a load balancer pool or an inbound network path.
