Configuring resources for the Azure Provider services

This section provides topics about how to configure and manage resources for the Azure Provider services. You can configure the tenant quota for the Azure Provider prior to configuring the resources. See Managing-tenant-and-user-quota-for-the-Azure-Provider for details.

Configure Microsoft Azure resources (Affinity Groups or Virtual Networks) as Logical Data Centers by completing the appropriate procedure for the cloud service you are provisioning in Microsoft Azure using the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management application.

Affinty Groups

Virtual Networks

Configure Affinity Group as a Logical Data Center, which consists of the following tasks:

  1. Onboard an Affinity Group
  2. Edit an Affinty Group to specify the network type and network container tag
  3. Offboard an Affinty Group
  4. Map a tenant with an Affinity Group

Configure Virtual Network as a Logical Data Center, which consists of the following tasks:

  1. Onboard a Virtual Network
  2. Edit a Virtual Network to specify the network type and network container tag
  3. Enable VM placement in single or multiple subnets for a Virtual Network
  4. Offboard a Virtual Network
  5. Map a tenant with a Virtual Network

After you have configured the virtual networks, you can manage the load balancers for the Azure Provider. See
Managing-load-balancers-for-the-Azure-Provider for details.
