Editing network containers


You can edit a network container to change the description or tags.

You can also update the components of a network container, but that involves updating the blueprint and reprovisioning the network container. See Reprovisioning-network-containers.

To edit a network container

  1. From the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console, click the vertical Workspaces menu on the left side of the window and select Resources.
  2. Under Quick Links on the left, click Network Containers under the Network section. 
  3. Click the Edit Network Container icon edit_button.gif.
    The Edit Network Container dialog box is displayed.

  4. If needed, change the description.
  5. If needed, create or select tags, as described in Assigning-a-tag-to-an-object.
  6. Click Next to edit any of the dynamic components associated with the container (networks, firewalls, and load balancers) See Managing-dynamic-components-for-network-containers.
  7. Click Next to edit any parameters for the network container.
    If you have a long list of parameters, press Ctrl+F to find a specific parameter.
  8. Click Save to save your changes and close the dialog box.
