Managing a VMware vCloud instance
The topics in this section provide information and instructions for configuring a VMware vCloud instance in BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management. The VMware vCloud provider type is available out-of-the-box. When you complete the process listed in the following table, you are ready to provision the vCloud service offering.

You create the vCloud service offering instance as you would any other instance. BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management administrators can create memory and CPU options and option choices so that end users can modify the memory and CPU configurations after a system is provisioned. Cloud administrators can also enable options for adding or removing a disk, and can configure the service offering instance to deploy software. | |
You can submit the vCloud service offering instance as you would any other instance. As with other service offerings, you have the ability to stop, start, decommission, and extend the compute container. |
Once the configuration process is completed, you then can commission or decommission a vCloud service offering instance much as you would any other instance.
