Configuring resources for the Azure Provider services

This section provides topics about how to configure and manage resources for the Azure Provider services. Configure Microsoft Azure resources (Affinity Groups or Virtual Networks) as Logical Data Centers by completing the appropriate procedure for the cloud service you are provisioning in Microsoft Azure using the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management application.

Affinity Groups

Virtual Networks

Configure Affinity Group as a Logical Data Center, which consists of the following tasks:

  1. Onboard a Logical Data Center
  2. Edit a Logical Data Center to specify the network type and network container tag
  3. Offboard a Logical Data Center
  4. Map a tenant with a Logical Data Center

Configure Virtual Network as a Logical Data Center, which consists of the following tasks:

  1. Onboard a Virtual Network
  2. Edit a Virtual Network to specify the network type and network container tag
  3. Enable VM placement in single or multiple subnets for a Virtual Network
  4. Offboard a Virtual Network
  5. Map a tenant with a Virtual Network
