Adding Amazon connectors

In Quick Start, a connector is an integration between BMC Cloud Lifecyle Management and an Amazon Elastic Cloud Computer (EC2) provider. EC2 is a web service that provides resizable, cloud-based computing capacity. 

The Amazon Connectors page lists all currently defined Quick Start connectors for an EC2 provider instance.

To begin defining a connector, click Add New AddNewIcon.gif. The Create New Amazon Connector page opens.

Tip

You can click on any column header to sort information.

Recovering from a failure

If the operation to create an Amazon connector fails, artifacts from the operation may persist within BMC Remedy AR System. To ensure that Quick Start is functioning smoothly, you can perform a cleanup procedure.
