Objects created outside of Quick Start
The following limitations exist for objects created in BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management (that is, created outside of Quick Start).
Lag time
Quick Start cannot immediately display data created in BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management. It may take up to 30 minutes before Quick Start can display that data.
Incomplete data
Quick Start can display objects created in BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management (that is, objects created outside of Quick Start). However, the information Quick Start presents for those object may appear incomplete. More information will exist for objects created within Quick Start.
Existing data on main page
Before you use Quick Start, the home page may display data that was created in BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management. This typically occurs for tenant and user data.
Including an RSCD agent on virtual machines
Quick Start does not provide a mechanism for including an RSCD agent in the configuration you are using to provision virtual machines. If you want to include an RSCD agent in a server's configuration, use one of the following approaches:
- (vCenter) Add an RSCD agent to the VM template on the vCenter
- (Amazon) Install an RSCD agent on a private AMI
