Managing the OpenStack service offerings

In this final phase, you prepare and initiate the service offering request. When reviewing the service blueprint requirements, not all blueprint features are supported, and OpenStack instances have special requirements. For example, you specify specific service deployment parameters to be applicable on the deployment packages during multi-tier virtual machine (VM) provisioning.

To enable remote access and software deployment on an OpenStack server, you have the option of creating a BladeLogic Deploy Job for adding a local user and password.

You can start, stop, suspend, or resume a provisioned OpenStack server. In OpenStack Provider, you can add a disk, modify the CPU count, or modify the memory size of a provisioned server.
