Installing BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio
The installer does not automatically install Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio along with Atrium Orchestrator – Server.
Perform the following manual steps:
- Make sure that the Oracle Java JDK and JRE 1.6 (or later) 64-bit is installed.
- Set the JAVA_HOME system variable.
- Add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to the Path system variable.
- Update the Terminal Services configuration options and configure the DEP feature.
For more information, see Preparing-to-run-the-installer-on-a-Windows-computerpreparing to run the installer on a Windows computer. - On the installer computer, navigate to the AO-DevStudio folder.
Go to C:\InstallPlanner\media\Applications\AO-DevStudio. - Copy the setup executable file.
- Paste the executable to the target computer where you installed Atrium Orchestrator – Server.
- Double-click setup to manually launch the Atrium Orchestrator Developer Studio installer.
- When the installer starts, click OK.
You can select a different language besides English. - At the Notification page, click Next.
You can safely ignore the unrestricted mode warnings. - At the Welcome page, click Next.
- Agree to the license terms and then click Next.
- At the Installation Type page, click Next.
The default setting is Install a new Development Studio. - Browse to the Java VM (the Java executable) and then click Next.
- At the Directory Selection page, click Next.
The default location is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\AO\Studio. - At the Workspace Location page, click Next.
The default location is C:\Users\Administrator\DevStudio. - Click Next to create a product icon in a new BMC program group.
- Click Install to start the installation.
- When the installation is finished, click Done.
- Go to Start > All Programs > BMC > Development Studio to launch Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio.
