Network container blueprints are created in BMC BladeLogic Network Automation and define the settings used when creating a network container. For more information, see Creating-network-container-blueprints. For overview information about network resources, see Network-resources-overview.

Importing network container blueprints into BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management is required before you can create a network container.

When you onboard a pod, any network container blueprints that were already associated with the pod in BMC BladeLogic Network Automation are automatically imported into BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management and are ready to be used when creating network containers, as described in Creating-network-containers. Any network container blueprints that were created after you onboarded the pod must imported using this procedure.

Before you begin

  • BMC BladeLogic Network Automation must be a registered resource provider.
  • You must have previously created one or more network container blueprints in BMC BladeLogic Network Automation.

To import a network container blueprint

The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.

After importing a blueprint, you can then create network containers using that blueprint, as described in Creating-network-containers.
