This topic presents announcements that might impact future releases of the product. These changes can impact the way in which you configure or run the installed version of BMC Client Management.

Depreciation of Oracle database engine

Starting with the 26.1 release (targeted for March 2026), Client Management can no longer be installed on Oracle database. It will still be possible to upgrade to 25.1.00 version for customers already using Oracle.
Post-25.1.0 major releases won’t be available on Oracle. To upgrade to these versions, you must change your database engine to PostgreSQL or SQL Server. A dedicated tool was created in 25.1 to help you with that operation. It will still be possible on Oracle with version 25.1.00 and patches.

Starting with the 26.1 release, ARM systems are fully supported on both Windows and Linux platforms.
