Transferring files


By using the File Transfer option, you can transfer files between your local device and the remote device.

To transfer the files, click Actions >  Direct Access > File Transfer. The File Transfer tab is displayed. You can upload or download files to/from the remote device by using this tab.

To upload files to the remote device

  1. From the File Transfer tab, click Upload to the Remote Computer.
  2. In the Source list, click Add File or Add Directory and select the files or directories you want to upload.
  3. From the Destination list, select the destination directory .

  4. Click Send.
    The file is uploaded to the device. 

    The maximum size of the file to be uploaded is 4 GB and maximum number of files that can be uploaded is 100.

To download files from the remote device

  1. From the File Transfer tab, click Download from the Remote Computer.
  2. Select the files and/or the folder you want to download.

  3. Click Download.

    The Running Tasks pane displays the status of the download.

If the download fails due to any reason, click the Download Again button on the top right corner of the Running Tasks pane. This pane also displays the number of files transferred and the data size for each transfer.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
