Managing agent modules via web console

To configure agent modules

1. From the Welcome page of the web console, search for a device or select a device from the list of frequently selected devices.
2. Click Actions > Module Management > Configuration.
3. In the left pane, select the module you want to configure.
   The properties for the selected module are displayed. For information about the agent module parameters, see Setting-the-agent-module-parameters.
4. Modify the parameters and click Save Parameters to confirm.

The configuration of the selected agent module is updated.

To load agent modules

1. From the Welcome page of the web console, search for a device or select a device from the list of frequently selected devices.
2. Click Actions > Module Management > Load/Unload.
   The Load/Unload tab is displayed.
3. Click Load Modules.
   The Select Agent Modules window is displayed. In this window, all modules that are currently available for loading on the selected device are listed.
4. Select the modules to be loaded at the startup by selecting the respective check boxes.
5. (Optional) Clear the Persistent check box if you want the selected agent module to be loaded from now on at every agent startup. By default this option is selected.
6. Click OK to confirm.

The selected modules are added to the list of loaded modules.

To unload agent modules

Not all modules need to be loaded on all clients. You can unload modules that are not required on a specific device.

1. From the Welcome page, search for a device or select a device from the list of frequently selected devices.
2. Click Actions > Module Management > Load/Unload.
   The Load/Unload tab is displayed.
3. Select the modules to be unloaded at the startup by selecting the respective check boxes.
4. Click Unload Modules. The Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
5. Click Yes if you want the modules to be loaded at every agent startup from now on or click No if you want the modules to be unloaded this one time.

The selected modules are unloaded.
