Repairing corrupted data in the database

This option is only available on the Master. It allows you to repair corrupted data in the BMC Client Management database. To do so, proceed as follows.

• Click Repair Data Corruption at Next Start-up from the drop-down menu to the right above the table.
  This action performs the following checks in the database.

  Database check	Repair
  Group Hierarchies integrity	Create the missing indirect device link.
  Duplicated ScheduleID	No reparation.
  Group Assignments in Pause	No reparation.
  Duplicated Operational rules Device Assignment	Remove the duplicate entries.
  Operational rules ghost assignments	Remove the ghost assignments.
  Ghost group members	Remove the ghost group members.
  Device Group Integrity	Add the missing Operational Rule-Device assignments.

  All corrupted data in the database for which an automatic repair exists will be repaired at the next BMC Client Management agent startup.
