The right window pane
The right window pane or data pane of the console displays all information available about a node selected in the left pane and allows you to work with it. Available objects for the object type will be listed in the right pane.
Clicking one of these objects will then display it in the left pane and the right pane will change to display related object data. If the node selected in the left pane is a folder, then the right pane displays the tabs General and Members , listing children and general information about the node. If the node selected is a child object the right window pane displays all information available for this object through a number of tabs and provide access to all actions possible for this node.
As you can see in the preceding example, the elements of the right window pane tabs are shown mostly in spreadsheet format and the pane contains a horizontal scroll bar to show all fields of the window.
If the number of table rows is limited to a rather small number it is possible that not all objects can be displayed in one page. In this case the right window pane displays a navigation bar at the bottom of the window containing navigation buttons plus information about the number of pages needed to display all objects and which page is currently displayed:
For the base objects, such as devices and reports, the columns which are to be displayed can be selected. For these tables you will find an icon on the top right corner above the scroll bar. To modify list of columns displayed for the current object, click the icon and select/clear the respective item.
All columns are sortable by simply clicking on the header cell of the respective column. A small triangle in the header cell displays the column by which the table is sorted and the sorting order. Cell width can be changed by moving the separator bar of the header cell to the left or right. If you right-click this bar the column auto-sizes itself. Field order can be changed by selecting a column (click the header cell), and holding the button down until the cursor changes. Then drag the column to the left or right to move it to the desired location.
