What is a step?

A step is a series of commands with a specific purpose executed by the CM agent .

What can I do with a step?

With a step you can define actions performed by the CM agent regularly or under certain conditions and thus automate processes in your network.

Are there different kinds of steps?

Steps with a similar purpose are subdivided into different groups, such as:

• Agent Configuration
• Directory and File Handling
• Inventory Management
• User Message Box
• Windows Device Management
