Adding Children to a Device

To add children to a device, proceed as follows:

Note:

Ensure that the selected device is not a child to another device.

  1. Make sure that you are located either under the ** node or a Your Device Group node.
  2. Select the desired device.
  3. Click Attach a child device down.png.
     The Select a Device dialog box appears.
  4. Select the devices to add as children. You can select more than one deviceInformationMake sure that the selected devices are not already children of another device or a parent to other children. In this case an error message will be displayed.
  5. Click OK to confirm the new relation.

You have now established a parent-child relation for devices that are attached to their parent.
