URLs for whitelisting

This topic lists the URLs that you need to whitelist for downloading patch KB and update manager module and for accessing the patch vendor access site.

Patch KB update

The patch KB update process downloads the patch KB from https://content.ivanti.com/data/oem/BMC-Numara.

The Patch Manager device must be able to ping content.ivanti.com.

BCM downloads patches from the Manufacturers websites (Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Firefox etc.) themselves, meaning one has to allow the URLs to all the websites from which patches will have to be downloaded

Update manager

The update manager module downloads files from https://vmupdater.numarasoftware.com.

Patch vendor site access

If the BMC Client Management Patching functionality is used, then you need to access and whitelist the following patch URLs where you can access the Patch Vendor site.

  • The following list includes all the download domains in BMC Client Management's patch data. You do not have to whitelist all of them. You can whitelist the URLs for the products that you want to patch.
