Managing processes on a device

The Process Management option helps you view information about programs and processes running on the managed devices, thus enabling you to monitor key indicators of your computer's performance. You can quickly see the status of the programs that are running and end programs that have stopped responding.

To view processes running on the selected device

  1. On the Welcome page, search for a device or select a device from the frequently selected devices.
  2. Click Actions > Process Management.
    You can see a list of processes running on the selected device.

To run a new task

  1. Click New Task (Run...).
    The Run Process dialog box is displayed.
  2. Enter the program path and program attributes.
  3. If you want to run the task in its context then select the Run Program in its Context check-box.
  4. Click OK.

To end the process, select Actions > End Process.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
