Configuring license management

The Configuration node provides you the possibility to configure some specific behavior of the software license management functionality via its tabs. The following parameters can be defined for the software license management:

Parameter

Description

Number of days before sending a license expiring alert

Defines the number days that may remain until the license expires to send an alert.

License underinstallation percentage threshold to send an alert

Defines the percentage of uninstalled software licenses under which an alert is sent. This means that if the threshold is set at 50% and 51% of the licenses are installed no alert is sent. If only 50% or less of the available licenses are installed an alert is generated.

Exceeded license usage percentage threshold to send an alert

Defines from which percentage value onwards of used licenses an alert is sent, that is, if the threshold is defined at 80% and 80% or more of the available licenses are used, an alert is sent. If only 79% of the licenses are used no alert is generated.
