To start the console

As already mentioned, the console is a Java application and can thus be launched using the generally available startup options provided by Java, such as -Xmxn to extend the maximum size of the memory allocation (n must be a multiple of 1024, for example, Xmx80m or Xmx81920k ). By default the anti-aliasing option is used for the console. To switch it off, open the console shortcut's Properties window and modify the -Dswing.aatext option from true to false .
