Removing Devices or Device Groups

Members can only be manually removed from a device group if the group is not assigned to a directory server or a query, or if the query is inactive.

To remove a device or a device group from another device group, proceed as follows:

  1. Select Device Groups in the left window pane.
  2. Select the object(s) to be removed in the right window pane.InformationYou can select multiple objects by either pressing the CTRL-key and selecting the desired objects, or by selecting the first object, pressing and holding the Shift-key, then selecting the last object.
  3. Select Edit > Remove remove.png.
     A Confirmation dialog box appears.
  4. Click OK to confirm the removal.
     The selected objects were removed.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
