Configuring an Asset Discovery Scanner

Each scanner can be defined differently for the asset discoveries it is to execute. To define the a scanner, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the Scanners > Your Scanner node in the left window pane.
  2. Select a row in the table to the right.
  3. Click Edit > Properties properties.png.
     The Properties window appears.
  4. Make changes to the proposed default values as required.
  5. Click OK to confirm and close the window.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
