Create patch-based operation templates and operations

As a patch policy owner, use the patch policy based job type to create an operation template. To increase efficiency, you can use this template to create redundant patch operations. For more information, see Working-with-operation-templates.

Kubernetes-based deployment

You can now use the Kubernetes installer to deploy TrueSight Automation Console in your Kubernetes environment. The installer provides better performance, supports a range of platforms, and offers Kubernetes functionalities to manage the Automation Console service deployment across the Kubernetes cluster. For more information, see Deployment-on-Kubernetes.

Purge old data

To keep only relevant data, use the cleanup REST APIs to cleanup old job runs, scans, operations, and so on to prevent the database from growing beyond its capacity. For more information, see Using-REST-APIs.

Add and update vulnerability notes

You can add and update a note for a vulnerability. The note can include additional details about the vulnerability. You can use these notes to filter vulnerabilities. For more information, see see Working-with-risks.

View the activity logs

Review the logs about the activities that you performed in Automation Console. An operator can view the logs of activities that are performed only by the operator. An administrator can view the logs of activities performed by the administrator and other operators. You can specify a date for purging activities. By default, the activities older than 90 days are purged. For more information, see Viewing-the-status-of-activities.
