End User Overview dashlet
Understanding the dashlet data
Use the End User Overview dashlet to examine the overall conditions and experience of the end-user interaction with your application, over the selected time period.
The following statistics and metrics are displayed over the selected time range and for the selected application:
Dashlet item description

Page Latency Violations | Percentage and number of pages with page-load-time violations compared to those without violations A violation occurs when the page load time exceeds the defined threshold. |
Sessions | Total number of unique active sessions The number under the title represents the total over the selected time period. |
Users | Total number of unique active users The number under the title represents the total over the selected time period. |
Pages | Total number of page views The number under the title represents the total over the selected time period. |
Page Load | Average page load time The time under the title represents the average over the selected time period. |
Front End | Average front-end time The time under the title represents the average over the selected time period. |
Ajax Errors | Total number of Ajax requests that return HTTP errors The number under the title represents the total over the selected time period. |
Hover over a graph to see a specific time and value. Hover over the circle chart to see the value of each section.
The dashlet updates values every minute.
Dashlet requirements
The End User Overview dashlet requires end-user application monitoring with TrueSight App Visibility Manager.
The dashlet displays data for the selected dashboard time and application.
Ensure that you perform the following steps before creating the dashlet:
1) Ensure that the proxy server system meets all the recommended requirements. For more information, see System requirements for App Visibility Manager server components.
2) Ensure that you have more than one Elasticsearch cluster instance configured. For more information, see Preparing for the App Visibility server installation and App Visibility proxy installation or upgrade connectivity and cluster checks.
Configuring the dashlet
You can configure this dashlet when you add or edit a dashboard. Ensure that you add the dashlet to a column that is set to 50% wide or larger.
- Click Add Dashlet and select the End User Overview dashlet.
- (Optional) Click the Configure Dashlet
icon and enter a descriptive title for the dashlet.
