Cannot distinguish between multiple JVM processes using the same agent for Java

The same application server name (defined during agent installation) is displayed multiple times.

Issue

If more than one application server uses the same App Visibility agent for Java, you might not be able to distinguish between the application servers. For example, if the port numbers cannot be detected, the application server names are identical.

Probable cause

A single App Visibility agent installation directory is used by multiple JVM processes.

Resolution

Assign meaningful names to distinguish each instance of the JVM process.
