Managing App Visibility notification channels

TrueSight App Visibility Manager and TrueSight Synthetic Monitor event notifications can be sent on a number of different channels. You can send event notifications via email, Syslog, and SNMP (v2). If you have TrueSight Infrastructure Management in your environment, App Visibility and Synthetic Monitor events are recorded there automatically.

In Synthetic Metric Rules event notifications, the event start  and end time are reported and displayed in the following date formats:

  • English - dd/MM/yyyy
  • German - dd.MM.yyyy
  • Simplified Chinese - yyyy/M/d

However, you can customize this date format using the following procedure. The customized date format is applied to all the supported languages.
