This release addresses bug fixes and general maintenance items.

Overview of the enhancements

We have added the following capabilities in this release:

  • PTF XDQ190*  allows Code Debug for CICS to use ECC Shared Services 64-bit USS Conversion Services introduced in ECC PTF CXSJ97A.

Two new programs, DBUGSK64 and CXTRSRVC, need to be defined.  Please refer to the HOLD Data for details. 



      • Users utilizing the DBUGPGADX program auto install exit will have those definitions automatically added.
      • Users defining Code Debug for CICS programs using RDO should copy the definitions for these programs
        from the updated SAMP member CSDXDPRG included in this PTF into their respective RDO group.
  • With PTF XDQ191*  you can use the FIND command for 64-bit storage areas when using the 2.2 and 9.2 Memory Display screens.

Obtaining the enhancements

PTF's XDQ190* and XDQ191* enables these enhancements.

We recommend that you obtain the enhancements by using the SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command. For more information, seeUsing SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER. However, you can also use the following method for each product version:

  1. Navigate toElectronic Product Distribution - BMC Mainframe and select the BMC AMI DevX tab.

  2. Click the BMC AMI DevX Code Debug for CICS 17.02 row.
  3. Select from the Required Dependent Products list and (if applicable) Recommended products list.
  4. Click Done to add the product.
  5. Click Continue to proceed, select the relevant options across the ordering stages, and complete the ordering process.

To view a list of PTFs included in the cumulative maintenance, go toBMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD), locate the required product name and version, and click the PTF text file.
