Configuring after upgrade
After you upgrade BMC Virtual Chat, perform the following configuration tasks:
- Clearing the Mid Tier and browser cache
- Updating the BMC Knowledge Management query
- Copying customized files
- Copying custom configurations to overlays
If you have already installed and configured the BMC IT Service Management integration with BMC Virtual Chat, complete the following procedures:
For BMC Virtual Chat version 9.1.02, updating field IDs for upgrades and importing the workflow is not required. These steps are performed automatically by BMC Virtual Chat installer.
