Error report (SYSERROR DD)

SYSERROR DD contains all errors that occurred during utility processing.  Any error that occurred in a server job is reported back to the original submitted job, the primary job.

The page header identifies the origin of the error. The page header shows the name and number of the job with the error.

JESMSGLG contains any error that occurred outside the utility, such as an allocation error.

The +ALLERROR parameter controls whether the utility shows errors only from the current run (NO) or shows previous errors following a restart of a previously failed utility-ID (YES). If you specify +ALLERROR YES to see previous errors, the timestamp of the errors appears if they were from before the current job execution.
