Technical bulletin: Hotfix for Oracle Exadata

A hotfix is now available for TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse 20.02.01 to enable support for Oracle Exadata. With this hotfix, you can use TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse with Oracle Exadata.

Prerequisites

Make sure that the following database configuration tasks are completed.

1. Log in to the system where the Oracle Database is installed.
2. Configure the following system-level parameters:
   
   1. Set the value for the PARALLEL_DEGREE_POLICY parameter to AUTO or ADAPTIVE by running the following command:
      ALTER SYSTEM SET PARALLEL_DEGREE_POLICY = ADAPTIVE

   2. Set the value for the GLOBAL_NAMES parameter to FALSE by running the following command:
      ALTER SYSTEM SET GLOBAL_NAMES = FALSE

Applying the hotfix

Do the following:

1. Log in to the server where TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database is installed.
2. Navigate to the following path:
   Hotfix location
3. Download the pkg_archival_restore_manager.sql file.
4. Recompile the "pkg_archival_restore_manager.sql" stored procedure.
