System requirements for TrueSight Smart Reporting

Confirm that the server where you plan to install TrueSight Smart Reporting meets these requirements.

Note: System compatibility support

TrueSight Smart Reporting has been tested on the operating systems documented on this page. However, TrueSight Smart Reporting can be installed on all operating systems that are supported by Yellowfin. For more information, see the Yellowfin documentation Open link (https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/user80).

Compatibility with BMC products

TrueSight Smart Reporting is compatible with the following:

  • TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse version 8.9.04.002
  • TrueSight Server Automation version 8.9.03, 8.9.03.x, 8.9.04, and 8.9.04.x
  • BMC Server Automation versions 8.9.00, 8.9.00.x, 8.9.01, 8.9.01.x, 8.9.02, and 8.9.02.x

Repository database support

For the repository database, TrueSight Smart Reporting supports all databases that TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse supports. However, you can create a new schema or database for the TrueSight Smart Reporting repository.

You can create a separate schema for Oracle, and a separate database for SQL Server.

The PostgreSQL database is the default repository database for TrueSight Smart Reporting. The following databases are supported:
