Specifying a location to save a report schedule to the disk
As a TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator or a component administrator, you can save a report schedule to the reporting server, a local drive, or a Windows shared folder. When you save a report schedule, a report is run at intervals and is automatically saved to the location that you provide in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.
This topic provides instructions to specify a location to save a report schedule.
If you do not specify a location to save the report schedule, by default, the schedule is saved in the <install_location>\appserver\temp folder.

If you are a TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator, you can specify a location to save report schedules for all client organizations in a component or a specific client organization. Reporting users can save reports schedules at the location that you specify. Ensure that reporting users can access the location that you specify to save report schedules.

To save a report schedule
- Use the following URL to open the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform login page:
https://<TrueSight Smart Reporting hostname>:port/tsr - In the Log in as list, select TrueSight Smart Reporting - Admin.
- In the User Name and Password fields, enter the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator credentials.
- Click LOG IN.
In the upper right corner, click your profile, and click Admin Console.
- In the Multi-tenant Login page, select a component for which you want to specify the location to save report schedules.
- On the left navigation pane, go to Administration > Configuration.
- Click Save To Disk Settings.
- In the Save To Disk Path field, enter the location for the report schedule to be saved, and click Save.
To specify a shared location to save report schedules
Linux
- Ensure that the network drive for of the shared path is mounted on the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform server.
- Use the path of the mounted drive as the location to save report schedules.
Windows
If TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform is running as a service, do the following:
- On the server where TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform is installed, go to Start > Services.
- Right click the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform service and click Properties.
- On the Log On tab, click This account and then click Browse.
- In the Select User window, search for a local user who installed the product and has access to the shared location, and click OK.
- Click Apply.
- Restart the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform server.
