Modifying global settings in TrueSight Smart Reporting


Global settings in TrueSight Smart Reporting affect reports created for all components. As the TrueSight Smart Reporting administrator, you can modify global settings in TrueSight Smart Reporting. You can modify global settings even if no component is added in TrueSight Smart Reporting.

Do the following:

  1. Log in to TrueSight Smart Reporting as the TrueSight Smart Reporting administrator.
  2. In the upper right corner, click your profile, and click Admin Console.
  3. Click the menu icon menu_icon.pngin the upper left corner.
  4. Modify the required settings under Administration. For more information about the settings under Administration, see Administration  (https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/user80/Administration).

Example: Configuring or modifying email

As a TrueSight Smart Reporting, you can configure or modify email settings. This is a global setting, and is applicable to all components added to TrueSight Smart Reporting.

Do the following:

  1. Log in to TrueSight Smart Reporting as the TrueSight Smart Reporting administrator.
  2. In the upper right corner, click your profile, and click Admin Console.
  3. Click the menu icon menu_icon.pngin the upper left corner.
  4. Under Administration, click Configuration.
  5. Expand General Settings, and configure or modify all required settings.
  6. Expand Outgoing Mail Server, and configure or modify all required settings.
  7. Click Save.
