Views and folders in TrueSight Smart Reporting
With TrueSight Smart Reporting, you can generate and administer performance, impact, and event data reports with a simple drag-and-drop action. TrueSight Smart Reporting uses Oracle or SQL Server as the application database. Reports are generated on the data collected by the TrueSight Operations Management Report Engine.
A report contains the following components:
- Folder. A container of fields. Each view has folders, which contain fields that you can use to create event, impact, and performance reports.
- Field. A named component that maps data or a derivation of data in database.
- Conditions. Pre-defined statements that are used to filter the results of a query.
While creating a TrueSight Smart Reporting report, you can select one of the following views:
- Device Metrics & Events. Use this view to create reports for TrueSight Operations Management event and performance data.
- CI Impact & Events. Use this view to create reports for TrueSight Operations Management event and impact data.
