Uninstalling

This topic describes how to uninstall TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.

Once you uninstall TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform, all TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform reports are deleted from the system.

Do the following:

1. If you have a component added in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform, delete the component.

2. Close the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform instance.

3. Stop TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform. 

   Note: Service name is different in non-English locates

   In non-English locales, the TrueSightSmartReporting service appears as the Yellowfin service.

   Do the following:

   • (Windows) Stop the TrueSightSmartReporting service.

   • (Linux) Navigate to the <installed_dir>/appserver/bin/ folder and run the following command:
     ./shutdown.sh

4. Navigate to the <installed_dir>/Uninstaller folder.

5. Do one of the following:
   • (Windows) Double click the uninstaller.jar file.
   • (Linux) Run the following command:
     Java -jar uninstaller.jar
6. In the Uninstaller window, select the Force the deletion of <installed_dir>\TrueSightSmartReporting check box, and click Uninstall.
7. After the uninstall process is finished, click Quit.
8. (Windows) Manually delete the TrueSightSmartReporting service by the following command:
   • (For English locales) sc delete TrueSightSmartReporting
   • (For non-English locales) sc delete Yellowfin
9. Delete the folder where TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform was installed.
