Technical bulletin — Announcing hotfix 19.3.00.001

Hotfix 19.3.00.001 is now available for TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform version 19.3. This hotfix fixes the following issues:

• While updating content in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform, the following error message appears and the content is not updated:

  TSR-SR033003 Custom Properties failed to merge. The Component content could not be updated.

  This issue occurs because the database contains two tables that have the same custom properties.
  
  

• When a new view with newly added dynamic columns is added in a component, and if you update the content in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform, the new view is not added.

Installing the hotfix

Do the following to apply the hotfix:

1. Go to the server where TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform is installed.
2. Navigate to the FTP location for the hotfix .
3. Download and unzip the TrueSightSmartReporting_HotFix_19.3.00.001.zip file.
4. Stop the TrueSightSmartReporting service.
5. Navigate to the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform installation directory and take a backup of the tsr.war file.
6. Replace the existing tsr.war file with the tsr.war file from the extracted location.
7. Start the TrueSightSmartReporting service.

Rolling back the hotfix

You can roll back the hotfix if the tsr.war file is corrupted or if you face any other issues.

Do the following:

1. Go to the server where you applied the 19.3.00.001 hotfix.
2. Stop the TrueSightSmartReportingservice.
3. Copy the tsr.war file that you backed up before applying the hotfix.
4. Navigate to the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform installation directory.
5. Replace the existing tsr.war file with the backed-up file that you copied.
6. Start the TrueSightSmartReporting service.
