Troubleshooting security issues

The following topics apply to troubleshooting issues with security:

(AIX, HP-UX) Single sign-on does not work

If you are running Network Shell on an AIX or HP-UX machine, you cannot use the TrueSight Server Automation single sign-on credentials to authenticate to a Network Shell proxy server without taking some extra measures to generate a single sign on credential for the client machine. Contact BMC Customer Support for instructions.

Cannot authorize a role to view all devices

For a role to be authorized to view all devices, permissions must be set for that role directly on the devices.
