Installing auto script
This topics provides step-by-step instructions for installing the TrueSight Network Automation Cisco Data Center Services Node auto script.
To install the auto script
- Install Network Automation, as described in Installing.
- Download the auto script .zip file from <BCAN_INSTALL>\public\bmc\bca-networks\extras\bcan-dsn-utility-v.r.mm.zip to your local directory.
- Unzip the contents of the auto script .zip file located at <BCAN_INSTALL>\public\bmc\bca-networks\extras\bcan-dsn-utility-v.r.mm.zip to <BCAN_DATA>.
This creates the following subdirectories:- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-dsn-utility\bin
- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-dsn-utility\data
<BCAN_DATA>\bcan-dsn-utility\lib
- Copy <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-dsn-utility\data\dsn.properties to <BCAN_DATA>.
- Unzip the contents of the Auto Script helper .zip file located at <BCAN_INSTALL>\public\bmc\bca-networks\extras\bcan-add-device-v.r.mm.zip to <BCAN_DATA>.
This creates the following subdirectories:- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-add-device\bin
- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-add-device\lib
- Move the following two files to the location <BCAN_DATA>\endorsed:
- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-add-device\bin\createACEContext.bat
- <BCAN_DATA>\bcan-add-device\bin\createFWSMContext.bat
Edit both the files and change the following line:
set CLS_PATH=%CLASSPATH%;..\lib*;to
set CLS_PATH=%CLASSPATH%;..\bcan-add-device\lib*;
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
