Configuring and operating Entuity Network Analytics extensible menus for TrueSight Network Automation
This topic explains how to configure Entuity Network Analytics extensible menus to display TrueSight Network Automation reports, and execute Network Automation span actions from Entuity Network Analytics.

To configure Entuity Network Analytics extensible menus for Network Automation
- Copy the sw_bna_menu_def.cfg file from BCAN_HOME\public\entuity to ENA_INSTALL\etc.
- Open the file ENA_INSTALL\etc\sw_bna_menu_def.cfg with a text editor and change all occurrences of <TrueSightNetworkAutomationServer>:<port> to the actual host name/IP address and web port where Network Automation is installed.
Edit the file ENA_INSTALL\etc\sw_menu_def_site_specific.cfg and add the following line at the bottom of the file:

{{/code}}- Stop the Entuity Network Analytics server services.
- Re-run the configure program taking the defaults.
You do not need to rebuild the database:- (Windows): ENA_INSTALL\install\configure
or
ENA_INSTALL\install\configure text - (UNIX): ENA_INSTALL/install/configure text
- (Windows): ENA_INSTALL\install\configure
- Start the Entuity Network Analytics services.
Note that after the Entuity Network Analytics services are started, it still can take an hour or so before the customized menu options appear.
To operate the Network Automation menu options from Entuity Network Analytics Web UI
Perform the following steps to access various Network Automation-related menu options:
- Log on to the Web UI and click the Explorer tab.
- Click the arrow to expand the hierarchy tree to see devices.

Or, click the Contents tab. Click All Objects to see the devices.
Right-click a network device and TrueSight Network Automation and select the option for report or span action that you want to access, as shown in the following figure:

Snapshot the running and startup configurations on the device
Compliance Summary
Show the configuration rules that are currently in violation status on the device
Configuration Change Summary
Show all configuration changes on the device along with who made them and when, for the last 7 days
Discrepancy Details
Show discrepancies between current and Trusted configurations
OS Image History
Show the OS image versions running on the device for the past 30 days
Running vs. Startup
Show the differences between running and startup configurations
Telnet/SSH Proxy
Launch a capture telnet/SSH session to the device
Upload Changes
Make configuration changes to a device (Deploy to Active)
Write Mem
Save running to startup (Commit)
