Using Survey Monkey surveys (2020 Release 01)
To measure end user satisfaction, you can now use external survey providers to survey your users by using Business Rules. You can create a Business Rule to send a survey to users when tickets are closed.
This topic describes how to send surveys with Survey Monkey.
This survey feature is applicable to Track-It! 2019 Release 01 and later. For more information, see Track-It! 11.4 vs. Track-It! 20xx.
You must have a survey account with Survey Monkey.
Survey Monkey has both free and paid accounts.
Creating a survey and Business Rule
To create a survey and Business Rule, perform the following steps:
Go to Survey Monkey website and create an account.
- Create a survey.
- Create a copy of the Notify Requestor on Ticket Close Business Rule.
- Disable the Notify Requestor on Ticket Close Business Rule.
- Edit the rule that you created in step 3 to add the URL of the survey that you created in step 2.
You can also add other text to send to your users along with the survey email.
- Enable the new rule.
