    We really need Directory Importer Scheduling in the new version. Unfortunately, we can not upgrade from 11.4 until this is available.

    We were told in early 2018 that Library module will be available in late 2018 release. Now it is showing TBD in Release 3 of 2019???

      Yes that is correct. As noted above, this schedule is subject to change. As with any software development road-map, items are sometimes re-prioritized based on customer/user feedback. In this case, other features have been more highly requested than Library so the Library module was prioritized lower to make room for other more highly requested features like the Web API and Track-It! applications for mobile devices.

    I was looking to see if an upgrade is possible yet because we are having problems with certain parts. However, I see modules we use are still not available. We use Library*, Survey*, Barcode*, Software License Management*, Password Reset*, and Directory Importer Scheduling. I am not sure why you would offer an upgrade that eliminates key modules. The main reason we remain with TrackIT is due its modules above and Purchasing.

      Thanks for the feedback Donna. This page exists for the exact concern you mention. We intend to add those other modules and if you use those, this page lets you know that you should hold off on upgrading for now. We made a decision early in our project to release the main modules that 80%+ of our customers use as they were completed. That way most customers could benefit from the new version sooner rather than later. We did realize that some customers would need to wait for other lesser used modules to be completed but we didnt want to make everyone wait while lesser used features were completed. Hope this information is helpful.

    Do we have a release date for Track-It! 2019 Release 1 20.19.01 ? I'm holding off on my upgrade from 11.4 until this release that I was told was due at the end of January.

      Hello Scott, we don't typically publish specific release dates for this exact reason. Final release dates are subject to change based on development resources, customer needs, market needs, quality certifications, security certifications and numerous other factors. The 2019 R1 release had a release window of Q1 of this year but the release is not available yet. It will become available for download within the BMC EPD portal once it becomes available.       POP3, IMAP and SMTP are universal and can be used in Lotus, Exchange, Gmail, practically any email platform. Microsoft tends to make changes to EWS occasionally and at times in the past, those changes have caused issues which impacted our product and our customers. POP3, IMAP and SMTP are known, stable, well established, unchanging, industry standard email protocols which work universally across all vendors and email platforms and have proven more stable and reliable over time.
