Customizing the company logo and login background displayed in Self Service

You can customize Self Service by configuring your company's logo on login and home page along with the background image on the login page. Based on your requirements, you can replace the default images with your company logo and login background image.

To customize the logo and login background in Self Service

  1. Based on the location where you have installed Track-It! on the Track-It! Web server, perform any of the following tasks:

    To update the logo on the Self Service homepage
    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC\Track-It!\SelfService\<Content.20.xx.xx.xxx>\images\Custom.
    2. Back up the CompanyLogo.png (775x94) default file.
    To update the logo on the Self Service login page
    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC\Track-It!\SelfService\< Content.20.xx.xx.xxx>\images\common.
    2. Back up the TrackIt.png image default file.
    To update the background image on the Self Service login page
    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC\Track-It!\SelfService\< Content.20.xx.xx.xxx>\images\common.
    2. Back up the LoginBackground.jpg image default file.
  2. Create your company logo and login background files and match both the name and the dimensions of the default files indicated in the previous table.
  3. Copy and replace the default files in the appropriate folder.

    Note

    You must clear your browser cache to view the updated Self Service branding.
