Creating and managing vendors

Track-It! allows you to manage vendor information that you can use for the asset management. You can manage vendor information such as company, payment terms, and contact details.

Creating a vendor

  1. On the header bar, expand the hamburger menu and select Configuration.
  2. Click Application Settings and select Vendors.
  3. On the Vendors page, click New.
  4. In the New Vendor dialog box, perform the following steps:

    1. In the Company Name field, enter the company name for the new vendor.

    2. Enter an appropriate value for the other fields.
    3. (Optional) In the Comments field, enter additional details about the vendor.

    4. (Optional) To make this vendor unavailable, select the Mark as Inactive check box.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To add more vendors, repeat steps 4 and 5.
  7. (Optional) To edit a vendor, click Edit new1.png.
  8. (Optional) To delete a vendor, click Trashbin new1.png.
