Re the post-install activities, the last bullet suggests restarting the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On agent on the Load Balancer.  What is meant by that statement?  From what I can tell there is no installation of an agent on the load balancer?

      Hi John,

      Thank you for your comment.

You are right. There is no installation of an agent on the load balancer. I removed the bullet.

      Regards,
      Kamal

      Hi Lubos,

A load balancer balances the load between different BMC Atrium Single Sign-On nodes installed either on internal or external Tomcats in a High Availability environment.

Hence your question of a load balancer between external Tomcats and BMC Atrium Single Sign-On nodes does not arise.

      Kamal

For TrueSight 10.5, what if we did an ASSO stand alone install and want to go back and configure it in HA mode after the fact?  Are there any instructions for how to do this?

    Hi,

We need to install SSO in HA through silent installation. Can any one give me information on  Bold points in options file:

    -P installLocation=/optpprod/bmc
    -A featureAtriumSSO
    -J ITGR_INSTALL_TYPE=true
    -J ATRIUMSSO_INSTALL_TOMCAT=true
    -J CLUSTER_MODE=FIRST_MEMBER_CLUSTER_STRING
    -J MEMBER_LOCATION=/home/xuser/5162_node.dat
    -J ATRIUMSSO_COOKIE_DOMAIN=#####
    -J LOAD_BALANCER_URL=https://########:8443/atriumsso
    -J ATRIUMSSO_LDAP_REPLICATION_PORT=8092
    -J ATRIUMSSO_TOMCAT_SHUTDOWN_PORT=8005
    -J ATRIUMSSO_SERVER_PASSWORD_CONFIRM=
    -J ATRIUMSSO_TOMCAT_HTTP_PORT=8080
    -J ATRIUMSSO_TOMCAT_HTTPS_PORT=8443
    -J USE_EXTERNAL_SCRIPTS=false
    -J ATRIUMSSO_SERVER_PASSWORD=
    -J ATRIUMSSO_HOST_NAME=#########
    -J ATRIUMSSO_LDAP_PORT=8091

Also will this silent file work for Secondary server by just changing Hostname or any other changes are required.
